DHT Consulting & Training was founded to support the professionals who are dedicated to making a difference.
Why?
Because my son and his generation deserve the best. Everything we do - or don’t do - now, impacts their future.
Service
I believe we live in service to each other because we depend on one another - friends, family, and strangers alike. My regular volunteer service includes:
President-Elect, Iowa Public Health Association
Volunteer, EveryStep Grief and Loss Services Home of Amanda the Panda
Volunteer, Various local civic engagement/voter education groups
My Roots
Dallas, TX raised me until I moved to Des Moines, IA to attend Drake University as an undergrad. Iowa has been my home for twenty-five years! Here, I’ve learned resilience, courage, and the value of hard work.
At Drake, I earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology and minored in both marketing and advertising. Later, I returned to earn a master’s degree in public administration with concentrations in public policy and executive development.
My Village
Tough times find us all and my story is no different. I’m grateful for the love of my friends and family who have continued to support me through all of life’s twists and turns. They foster my fearlessness and fuel me with joy. They soak up my heartache and send me back out with renewed confidence. Thank you! to any of you reading this.
